D is for Done??

Are you DONE yet?  Decorating?  Buying Gifts?  Baking?  Sending Cards?  NO?  Well it's OK because it's only December 1st and we have lots of time...Ha!
As you well know this is the shortest month of all since there is more to do then time to do it!
What have I DONE?
Well all the fall decorations are down and put in the basement!  I even have the big tree in the living room up!
Monday we rearranged the furniture and put the tree in front of the window in the living room...do you see my helper?
Then come the boxes of ornaments for this tree
I got smart last year and marked my totes and bins and boxes and this year is so much easier.
Bringing up a few at a time, decorating and then returning the empties to the basement and bringing up more!
My helper is all tuckered out, hanging ornaments is a hard job!
Decorated....another D word
A cute Doll ornament from Target last year

A Santa Duckie ornament new this year
My helper is back after his nap...

Now I need to get much more DONE since I want to join in all the fun Christmas parties next week.
So here is my to DO list:
Send Cards
Decorate Cubbies
Kitchen Tree
Cat Tree
wrap presents
buy more presents
wrap more presents
get presents in mail
bake cookies

OK, OK...enough
Will I ever get DONE??

C IS FOR CUTENESS!

I have missed my Grandson while I've been in Texas.  I will be spending the coming weekend with my daughter, SIL and of course Tiger!
Just a few pictures they have sent me!
Milestones while I was gone....
Sitting up really well!!
Posing with Mommy....is this not the cutest picture!
Standing in his crib....
Mommy was lowering the mattress right after this picture was taken!

and the cutest pic of all
Driving Daddy's truck!  Well really I think we might have about 16 years before we have to worry about this milestone!

 C for CUTENESS!

B IS FOR BROTHER

Joining Alphabe-Thur with Miss Jenny

B is for brother
Me & My Brother

How do you say goodbye to someone you love for the last time?  How do you drive away knowing that you are leaving a part of yourself behind?

I did this.  I visited my brother for what is probably the last time today.  I am flying home on Friday. Today we talked about family, childhood memories, forgiveness, faith and love.  I shed tears, he stayed calm....he is at peace...I wish I was.

How do you say goodbye to your childhood friend, keeper of secrets, partner in crime and so much more....I don't know.
I could only say
I love you!

I know I'll see him on the other side
