JUNE PHOTO CHALLENGE

I am so far behind in the June photo challenge I don't think I can really catch up.  After starting the challenge while at Y Camp, the internet went down for several days.  I got behind.  I got home and was sick for two days.  I got further behind.  Then Blake broke his ankle and I've now realized that I'm not going to complete this challenge after all.  Still I did take a few photos and I'm going to post them.  Maybe July will be a better month!  

So I did complete day 1-4

I went to camp as a girl and family camped also

The Athens Y camp reminded me of that time in my life....great memories

So that gets me caught up through June 16th!

I will try to take some more photos and maybe even go back and get some of the days I missed!

JUNE PHOTO CHALLENGE DAY 4

It's day 4 of the photo a day challenge

 Today's photo was clouds...easy right!

I take my camera and go outside and it is the prettiest clear blue sky I have seen in a long time.  Not a cloud in the sky.  So I get busy taking care of Tiger today and almost forget to find a cloud.  But find one I did and I'm pretty happy with it.

The sun was almost down but there was a little glow on the few clouds in the sky

I am happy!

PHOTO FUN! 30 DAY CHALLENGE

I found this fun 30 day photo challenge on Shabby Chicks blog yesterday.  I decided to join in.  I will catch up with the first 3 days of June today and then attempt to post a photo daily.  Attempt I say! :)

June 1~ self portrait

I hate pictures of me, I always get that one eye all squinty!  Oh well, I did it just for all of you!  Taken in the mirror of course.

June 2 ~ Favorite Shoes

These may not look pretty but they are my favorite shoes right now.  A 3 year old pair of TEVA sandals.  I can hike, get them wet and keep on going.  They have the best arch support which I have to have for my planters fasciitis.  No more 'cute' heels for me.

FLOWERS ON THE DECK

I finally have added some plants to the deck! I think the new Grandson has distracted me some but it's looking so nice out there now.

My daughter Sara loves Daisies so this was bought to celebrate her

This year I bought a Poppy and it has been spectacular!

A potting bench!  I have been wanting one for over a year now and my Honey surprised me with an early Birthday present!  I love it!!

I started this blog for my photography
I am joining Tracy at Trinket's and Treasures for a photo party.  Today we are sharing black and white photos.  I am using some old photos and changing them to black & white and cropping them.

BABY SHOWER

This past Friday night there was a baby shower for Sara & Blake  It was a couples shower with their friends in Athens, GA where they live.  It was so much fun!  My daughter Ashleigh and I drove over together from Atlanta.  They had a Taco pot luck since Sara has been craving tacos during her pregnancy!  Here are some photos of the event.  They were taken with my little power shot and most were taken by others at the shower so they aren't as crisp as I would like.  I have done some photo editing since there was lots of red eye!
