Thankful for Tiger

This has been a challenging year in so many ways.

My oldest moved across the country from me

My son in law broke his ankle and had surgery

My brother is in the last stages of liver failure

But despite all the I have been blessed in many ways

Love of family and friends

Good health 

and the best blessing of all

The birth of my Grandson

William Tiger 

8 lbs 6 ozs of pure love

I am so proud of my daughter Sara and my son in law Blake...they are awesome parents

This little guy has brought me so much joy! 

I am thankful for so much but especially

for Tiger!

C IS FOR CUTENESS!

I have missed my Grandson while I've been in Texas.  I will be spending the coming weekend with my daughter, SIL and of course Tiger!

Me & My Brother

How do you say goodbye to someone you love for the last time?  How do you drive away knowing that you are leaving a part of yourself behind? 

I did this.  I visited my brother for what is probably the last time today.  I am flying home on Friday. Today we talked about family, childhood memories, forgiveness, faith and love.  I shed tears, he stayed calm....he is at peace...I wish I was. 

How do you say goodbye to your childhood friend, keeper of secrets, partner in crime and so much more....I don't know. 
I could only say
I love you!

I know I'll see him on the other side
