BABY SHOWER

This past Friday night there was a baby shower for Sara & Blake  It was a couples shower with their friends in Athens, GA where they live.  It was so much fun!  My daughter Ashleigh and I drove over together from Atlanta.  They had a Taco pot luck since Sara has been craving tacos during her pregnancy!  Here are some photos of the event.  They were taken with my little power shot and most were taken by others at the shower so they aren't as crisp as I would like.  I have done some photo editing since there was lots of red eye!

Their friends were very generous and they received many things off their registry and some wonderful creative handmade items

I can't wait for Tiger to get here!

    Those came out great, Linda...I had to laugh at all the vintage Pyrex!
    Your daughters are beautiful. I am sure you will be the best Grandma, too!

    Okay so my answer is the shower was last Friday - I am all goofed up!

    Any way your daughter couldn't look any happier - she has the biggest smile on her face ever.

    You other daughter and SIL - happy too.

    first, i must comment on your haircut-super cute. second, i spotted that pyrex-thought you brought it with you. i like couples shower, especially for baby. those pillows are perfect! looks like such a great day!

    I didn't know you had this blog too! You're amazing. I'm not one for baby showers and do everything I can to avoid them these days. Bridal showers too. I guess I'm the female equivalent of a "curmugeon" huh? Thats great how they used all the Pyrex--now THAT gets me excited!

    Linda, it looks like it was a fun shower! And Sara got some great stuff. yup, I am way behind. I haven't got to Target yet. got sick this past weekend. But, I very soon...Promise! LOL And I cracked up when I saw all the vintage pyrex!
