Remembering~Reminiscing~Rejoicing
Today I'm taking some time to Remember
As I get older I find my self doing that more and more....maybe calling it Reminiscing is more accurate. When I turned 60 I realized most of my life was behind me.
I'm still excited about each new day and my life is filled with Love and Joy but still....I Remember!
When my babies were born
A special vacation
Buying a new home
And sad things also...
Losing my Dad
Divorce
Burying a beloved pet
Still these memories are the fabric of our lives
they give me comfort that I have had a good one!
I've triumphed over hard times and made the best of the worst times. There is still much to look forward too...I have a Grandson now and he has given me great Joy!
Everyday I make new memories so
I Rejoice!

Your photos are awesome! And I'm glad you look at your glass half full instead of half empty!
ReplyDeleteLinda your photos are beautiful. And being able to REJOICE - with everything - is wonderful. I know you have been through a lot and have lots of good things now.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to be able to still look forward...
ReplyDeleteGrand kids sure make life more fun, don't they?
I hope you have many more memorable times in store--in a good way.

ReplyDeleteVery nice photos. I recently turned 60 and it's a real turning point isn't it? Just think, people today are living well into their 80's and 90's so we've got a long way to go yet.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Perfect collection of R words and a great sentiment to live by!
ReplyDeleteYou and I are the same vintage - it's a good time to be our age! I like the way you think.
ReplyDeleteLove the mood in your waterlilly pic! Your life is not over yet!!
ReplyDeleteJust a beautiful sentiment!~Ames
ReplyDeleteLinda, this post gives me encouragement. I so often miss the way things were. I wonder how we find things that are as wonderful in the 'now'.
ReplyDeleteSuch a reflective and perfect link for the letter "R".
Thank you for sharing this my friend.
