Jonquils in January

I think most of us have been experiencing some strange weather so far this month
Here in my neck of the woods its been pretty darn warm for January.  Some days of rain and sun and today I notice this...
Green and yellow in the side yard behind the tree
Today these made me smile but then I wonder
When March comes....will I see any more
Of these???

Jonquils in January?
*also called Daffodils but I needed the J today*

  5. I really miss spring bulbs here in Tucson.

They are pretty hardy, though, so if there is a cold snap, I think they will survive. I buy them at the grocery store. I love the fragrance! Great photos!

  9. I like your take on J, Linda! I haven't seen as much as a jonquil leaf pushing its way through the earth yet, and we usually have blooms by mid-February. They'd better get growing!

  10. We have had extremely warm eather for January too...

I know, I know your probably thinking it's always warm in AZ but last year it was pretty chilly out in January...

Thanks for linking to the letter "J" and here's hoping for a sudden cool down before Spring(or Summer in my case) actually arrives...

    Great job...

    A+
